Porsche presents the new 911 GT3 RS, which will deliver more engine power, offer lower weight, and feature shorter transmission ratios as well as body and suspension elements upgraded to an even higher standard. The new 911 GT3 RS takes the racing version to the road. The engine featured in the new 911 GT3 RS delivers 15 bhp more than its counterpart in the 911 GT3, with a maximum output of 450 horsepower. Sales of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS are starting in Germany in January 2010.

Porsche's new model combines a new power unit displacing 3.8 liters and delivering maximum output of 500 bhp (368 kW) with lower weight, enhanced driving dynamics and improved fuel efficiency. Depending on the configuration, the car requires just 11.4 11.7 ltr/100 km (equal to 24.8 - 24.1 mpg imp) under the EU5 standard. Sales of the new Porsche 911 Turbo in both Coupé and Cabriolet guise are starting in Germany on November 21, 2009.

The 2009 MX-5 facelift debuted at the 2008 Paris Auto Show. Major changes concern the restyled front which now incorporates elements from Mazda’s newer models like the larger grille and new head- and fog lights. Further restyled elements are the side skirts, rear bumper and the tail lights. The hardtop Roadster Coupe now features a mesh grille bordered by a chrome frame and chrome elements inside the headlamps and outer door handles./nThe instrument panel gained darker features and redesigned graphics for the gauges. To create more leg space in the cabin, a protrusion from the door pockets was eliminated./nThe 2.0-liter engine was rated 167 bhp (124.5 kW)@7000rpm and 140 lb·ft (190 N·m)@5000rpm for manual, 158 bhp (117.8 kW)@6700rpm and 140 lb·ft (190 N·m)@5000rpm for automatic. Engine redline was raised by 500rpm to 7200rpm in manual model. The suspension and gearbox have been fine-tuned; latter offers smoother shifts and automatic transmission will be introduced in Europe for the first time.

The Ferrari 458 Italia is a sports car to be produced by the Italian automaker Ferrari, as replacement of Ferrari F430. A price or a production start date have not been disclosed. Images of the car have been released by Ferrari to the press, and the car is scheduled for an official public reveal on September 15, 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show and at Ferrari's Galleria Ferrari museum simultaneously.

March 2009 saw the introduction of the 3.0-litre V6 Diesel engine featuring the new unique parallel sequential turbo charger system, the first of its type to be fitted to a V-engine anywhere in the world . Available in the New XF Diesel S, the so called AJ-V6D GEN III produces 271 bhp (202 kW; 275 PS) and 443 lb·ft (601 N·m) of torque. A mid performance version is also available in the XF Diesel, producing 237 bhp (177 kW; 240 PS) and 369 lb·ft (500 N·m) of torque. The new 3.0-litre engines meet the forthcoming EURO 5 regulations, due to come into force at the start of 2011.

In June 2009, Audi announced the addition of another model line to the A5 family. The A5 Sportback is added, which will have four doors and a long, tapering roofline, giving it a "coupe-like" appearance. The Sportback model will only be available in Europe, and will start at EUR 36,050.
